ciaopost publishes a customer’s own material to the customer’s own accounts. It is not a means of copying, scraping, or republishing anyone else’s listings.
When a customer asks us to build a post from a listing, we read only the single page they hand us — we do not crawl, browse, search, index, or harvest a marketplace, and we keep nothing of it beyond the one post. We compare the advertiser name on the listing with the customer’s registered business name and we do not publish where the two do not match. Where they do match, we still require the customer to declare, every time, that the content is theirs and that they take full responsibility for republishing it — because a name comparison is not proof of ownership and we do not pretend otherwise. Importing someone else’s listing is a ground for suspension.
